Where to leave your bags
Sources disagree on airport storage: one describes a 24-hour service in the arrivals hall, another 5 am to 10 pm at about 60,000 IDR per bag per day, and a storage-network site says there is no official one. Confirm before relying on it. In town, storage exists in Kuta (Hey Bali, advertised 24 hours with notice) and Sanur (lockers from about 60,000 IDR a day or 4 USD). A spa to pass the time
A massage or treatment just before the drive is the best way to wait. Compare before booking: massage and spa in Ubud. If you stay in Ubud, a riverside spa near Bali Zoo is an option as an outing.
Airport transfer
Book a driver in advance rather than flagging a taxi at the last minute: rush hour can double the ride. See airport transfers. Ubud to the airport takes about 1h15 to 2h in normal traffic.
If your flight is early morning

Before you leave
