Why Nusa Dua
The area is calm, clean and orderly, with sheltered sandy beaches: see Nusa Dua. It is the base for family or rest stays, about 25 minutes from the airport (estimate) and near Garuda Wisnu Kencana.
The limits
- Little local or night life on foot: evenings out by taxi (Grab and Gojek in Bali).
- High resort rates; few small budgets.
- We found no reliable information on all-inclusive packages, nor on Geger or Tanjung Benoa: check before booking.
How to choose and book
- Family: Mulia, Sofitel or Grand Hyatt, for kids' clubs and pools.
- Couple: Mulia, Paradisus or St. Regis.
- Spa: Westin. Compare with taxes and breakfast, read recent reviews. For other areas, see where to stay in Bali and Bali with kids.
