Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK): ticket prices, opening hours, shows and visit

Updated on October 24, 2026

Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) is a cultural park in southern Bali, on the Bukit peninsula, dominated by a monumental statue of the god Vishnu riding the bird Garuda, one of the tallest statues in the world (about 120 m according to common sources). The park offers dance shows, gardens, plazas and a restaurant with a view. On the official ticket site checked in October 2026: entrance ticket about 150,000 rupiah (shows and a dessert included), "Ultimate" package about 400,000 with a guided tour of the statue; the site does not show a separate foreigner price. Opening hours are not given on that page: confirm before you come.

Highlights

The statue

The statue

A monument of Vishnu on Garuda, visible from far across the peninsula. The "Ultimate" package includes a guided tour of the statue's 9th and 23rd floors; without it you admire the statue from the plazas.

The shows

The entrance ticket includes dance performances at the amphitheatre; a children's show, Petualangan Garuda Cilik, is announced at 10:00 and 14:00, and resellers mention hourly shows during the day and an evening show (Barong, 18:00).

The gardens and plazas

Large stone plazas, limestone cliffs and open spaces. A shuttle ("buggy") links the entrance plaza to the statue for about 40,000 rupiah per trip (to be bought with the ticket).

Practical info

Tips

This information comes from the park's ticketing site and from resellers, without confirmation of official hours.

How to get there

The park is in the south of the Bukit peninsula, close to the airport: allow about 30 to 45 minutes by road from Kuta or Nusa Dua (estimate). Taxi, ride-hailing or private driver; see from the airport to Ubud, Canggu or Seminyak.
