The Nusa Lembongan mangrove, on the north-east of the island near Jungutbatu, is visited in 1 hour by kayak, paddleboard or boat, from about 10 USD per person with hotel transfer (GetYourGuide, rated about 4.5). On the spot, one traveller paid IDR 100,000 per person for 40 to 50 minutes, and a Jungutbatu listing asks IDR 200,000 with a minimum of 2 people (unofficial, October 2026). The one-hour tour
A kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP), sometimes a transparent kayak, guided through the mangrove channels. Life jackets, a locker and supervision are provided; bottled water is not. No experience is needed, but the outing is not recommended for pregnant women or people with back or heart problems.
The options
The kayak is the simplest for a first try. The boat (jukung) suits those who prefer not to paddle. One traveller found the canoe part too short, and another judges transparent kayaks useful only at sea.

- Book through a reseller for the hotel transfer, or go straight to the watersport base and pay on site (lower price reported, unconfirmed). How to get there
Fast boat from Sanur, then road or scooter to Jungutbatu, where Mangrove Beach is (a hotel transfer is included in the online offer). The roads are narrow: be careful on a scooter.
