Nusa Ceningan: Blue Lagoon, Yellow Bridge, Secret Beach and how to get there from Lembongan
Nusa Ceningan is the small island between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida, linked to Lembongan by the Yellow Bridge. People come for the Blue Lagoon (a turquoise pool at the foot of a cliff), cliff jumping, Secret Beach and restaurants with a view. Plan half a day by scooter from Lembongan. The guides consulted in October 2026 give few reliable prices: confirm on site; the paid jump at Mahana is detailed below.
Highlights

The Yellow Bridge
The narrow bridge linking Lembongan to Ceningan is a free photo stop. It is open only to pedestrians and scooters: watch for traffic.
The Blue Lagoon
A turquoise pool carved into the cliff, where waves crash. Guides report that the main access has been taken over by a resort complex and may be closed: check the situation before you come. Jumping is for strong swimmers, as the sea can be rough and getting out is hard.
Mahana (paid jump) and Secret Beach
The Mahana point has 5 m and 10 m jumps with a ladder to climb back; you have to pay to jump, even to drink at the bar. Secret Beach, next to a restaurant and villas, has white sand but a lot of reef underfoot; non-guests can use the pool by spending over 100,000 IDR (one guide).

Tips
- Devil's Tear is not on Ceningan but on Lembongan: see Nusa Lembongan. For the day, compare three options: scooter (freedom, narrow roads, not for beginners), an organised Lembongan and Ceningan tour (transport and entries included according to listings, to be compared), or a local driver. For the Blue Lagoon, avoid high tide and days of strong swell. The crossing from Sanur is by fast boat; the tour in our selection leaves Sanur for Lembongan.
How to get there
From Sanur the fast boat takes 30 to 45 minutes to Lembongan (estimate), then the Yellow Bridge leads to Ceningan: about 10 minutes by scooter from Mushroom Bay. See Nusa Lembongan for the crossing and Nusa Penida for the neighbouring island.
