Tibumana Waterfall in Bali: ticket price, opening hours and best time to visit (2026)

Updated on October 25, 2026

Tibumana Waterfall is a fall in the Bangli area, north-east of Ubud, dropping into a shallow pool ringed by greenery. You reach it on foot from the car park, through rice fields and forest. Plan on about 25,000 rupiah per person according to several 2026 guides (a mid-2026 guide gives 20,000), open from about 6:00 or 7:00 to 18:00, and one hour on site. Information found in October 2026 in guides, with no official source: hours and price differ, so confirm at the gate.

Highlights

The walk through the rice fields

The walk through the rice fields

The path from the car park crosses rice fields and a bit of forest: it is a big part of the outing, especially early in the morning. This is not the fall itself; illustration photo of the rice fields of the area.

The fall and the pool

Water drops into a pool where you can cool off; one guide gives a depth of at most 2 metres, so diving is not possible. The stones are slippery and the flow rises in the rainy season.

Which tour to choose

Tibumana is almost always visited in a circuit. Price points found on GetYourGuide in October 2026: the "Spectacular Waterfalls" day (Tukad Cepung, Kanto Lampo, Tibumana, Gunung Kawi Sebatu and Tegallalang rice terraces), rated 4.9 from about 1,257 reviews; a group outing with Kanto Lampo, Tibumana and a water temple, about 23 USD per person, 4.9 from about 293 reviews (lunch extra); rice terraces, Tirta Empul and Tibumana, 4.9 from about 139 reviews, about one hour per stop. Practical info

Come at opening to avoid the groups. After heavy rain the water can be cloudy and the path muddy. For another waterfall near Ubud, see Tegenungan. Unofficial prices, to confirm.

How to get there

About 30 minutes by car from Ubud (estimate). A driver or a waterfall circuit is the easiest: see private driver in Bali. A scooter is possible for confident riders.
